Just Some Of The Flooding From Fay

This is the park that we love to go to, see what looks like buoys....that's actually the walkway around the whole place it's just under water for the time being.....








You can see the fence better in this picture. The white pillars are what looked like buoys in the 1st pic...at this end the water isn't as high but enough to let the fishy's swim thru out it....















There are tiers of seats all under the water......all the way down to the fence. That tells you how deep the water is here.....The water is sooooo black though, usually you can see the fish swimming but it's just so black that it's impossible....

Well, you can see what we did today. She's growing up. We will be celebrating Bob's birthday in a few weeks.

My first attempt at making Autumn a birthday gift. She loves the softness of fleece. I'd like to make three. This is not what it is supposed to look like. This is a trial run, but I think she would love it.
Let me tell you, I learned alot...That's the only yarn I could find in a hurry.

Yellow Tassels

Added a little jazz to my rocking chair pillow. Connie, I think I ordered the cube from Target online.The top opens.It's my teeny weeny coffee table type thing. Bob and I spend alot of time here in the sunporch. This is my end of the sofa, he has his radio at the other end. I try to do sewing, cleaning writing, etc. here. Well, my sewing machine is on the table. We listen to Rush and Mark Levin. I'm usually off doing something else during the Yankee games. I catch a wee bit of the games.

At The Sewing Machine

I covered a pillow and a cubey thingy in my sunporch today. Kinda tired . Celebrating the end of a very busy week. Whew.I will post pictures later.

TROPICAL STORM FAY'S SNEAKY ATTACK

WE DIDN'T GET ANYTHING FROM FAY UNTIL LATE LAST NIGHT, LOTS OF RAIN AND SOME WIND. WHAT SHE DID DO HERE WAS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT OTHERS ENDURED, NOW SHE WANTS TO GO OUT INTO THE OCEAN, GAIN SOME STRENGTH AND COME BACK AS A HURRICANE. WHAT SHE DID HOWEVER WAS FLOOD DONS STORE SO THAT HE HAD TO CLOSE IT DURING THE NIGHT. HE IS THERE NOW ECCESSING THE DAMAGE DONE. IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE HE'LL BE ABLE TO REOPEN UNTIL THEY ARE ABLE TO REPAIR THE ROOF. WATER EVERYWHERE...THIS MEANS DON WILL HAVE TO BE AT THE STORE ALL DAY........DID I MENTION IT'S OUR 24TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY....IF I CAN GET OUT EARLY THIS MORNING I WILL GET SOME PICTURES OF WHAT A WOMEN CAN DO WHEN SHE HAS SOME STRENGTH BEHIND HER......

AUNDI'S 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL. HE WENT TO BED EARLY FOR ME ( NO T.V. ) AND GOT UP THIS MORNING WHEN I WOKE HIM WITH NO PROBLEM.....
Shannon's precedure went off without a problem. Her gag refux is working well....LOL The needle down the throat, she grabbed the drs. hand, needle went in another direction....but it's done. She will have to see a specialist in a week. Just waiting for her to be released.......Thank you for your prayers.......

SHANNON HOSPITALIZED

SATURDAY MORNING SHANNON COMPLAINED OF A SORE THROAT, BY THE AFTERNOON IT HAD GOTTEN WORSE. AT 7 PM SHE CALLED FROM WORK FOR US TO COME AND GET HER, SHE COULDN'T DRIVE HOME, VOMITING, TEMP, ETC....SUNDAY MORNING SHE WAS EVEN WORSE, I PICKED UP AUNDI, WENT SHOPPING, SINCE HIS 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL HAPPENS TO BE TODAY.....SHE WAS HAVING A VERY TOUGH TIME SWOLLOWING, COULDN'T EVEN SPRAY HER THROAT WITH CHLORICEPTIC WITHOUT GETTING SICK, I KEPT AUNDI, BREE TOOK HER TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. NOT ONLY DOES SHE HAVE STREPE THROAT WHICH I KNEW BY LOOKING AT IT BUT THEY DID AN E T SCAN AND FOUND SHE HAS AN ABSESE IN THE BACK OF HER THROAT. IF SHE DIDN'T GO TO THE HOSPITAL IT WOULD HAVE CLOSED HER THROAT RIGHT UP SINCE IT WAS GROWING LARGE AND FAST. TODAY THEY WILL NUMB WAY BACK IN THE INSIDE OF HER THROAT AND DRAIN IT....DOESN'T SOUND TO PLEASANT TO ME BUT SHE IS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT MISSING AUNDI'S 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL. I AM UP AND WRITING THIS JUST BEFORE I GO IN AN WAKE THE LITTLE GUY UP. HE IS SOOOO UPSET OVER HIS MOTHER IT JUST BREAKS MY HEART. THEY WILL DO HER THROAT THIS MORNING AND I AM HOPING THAT SHE WILL BE HOME BY THE TIME THE LITTLE ONE GETS OUT OF SCHOOL.
AND A LITTLE F.Y.I. . TS FAYE IS PREDICTED TO TURN INTO HURRICANE STRENGTH AS IT COMES OFF CUBA AND OUT INTO THE WATERS, HITS THE WEST COAST OF FLORIDA ON TUESDAY. WE WILL BE JUST EAST OF IT BUT THE OUTER BANDS WILL REACH MOST OF FLORIDA. BECAUSE OF THESE OUTER BANDS IT'S BETTER TO BE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THEM THEN THE RIGHT (WHICH WE WILL BE).....DOESN'T LOOK TO GOOD BUT DON'S SAID HE'S MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE NEXT ONE THATS COMING. I DID BUY PLENTY OF WATER YESTERDAY FOR DRINKING AND WILL FILL EMPTY MILK CARTONS TODAY FOR DISHES, HANDS, ETC.......I'LL TRY AND TAKE PICTURES IF I AM NOT CLOSED UP INSIDE MY CLOSET OR UNDER THE BED WITH SPARKEY......

Sunporch Fluff

Took a hankerin' to this the other week when I was in Stitch & Sew.
Couldn't find that blue, so went with yellow. Basically, I liked the yellow, so , just grabbed it.
There's a green floral pillow at the other end of the sofa.
The curtains were not long enough, so I added some stripey strips. Not only are they longer, but they also seem fuller.I like that.
