Babies, High school Graduation, Bob's college graduation and my 42nd birthday. Daddy had sent me flowers and Mike was taking my picture. That's a guaranteed smile for sure.

My anniversary lamp from Bob. Love it. Has a dimmer switch , great feature. I made a tray from a picture frame. You can see it in the top picture. Glued the glass to the frame . Put pictures of Bob and I under the glass. Now there's a place to set your glass down, or whatever.

Both Computers Are Fixed

I have felt so out of it without my laptop, whew they are fixed and working better than brand new. I am a little poorer for it but worth it to keep up with the modern world and my family.....I will be putting up a picture of my dinner tonight...I am so excited about learning how to cook healthy but delicious meals that my family likes...(even Don). I guess it's a combination of the Armour Thyroid and this new way of eating but I have lost 14 lbs....Woo Hoo...OK so you really can't see it but I know it's gone. LOL

Everything is ok -

The doctor didn't come in to see Sue until 10:30 last night so there wasn't anything new to report all day. But the gynocologist came in and told her that what the surgeon saw was normal for having given birth 4 times. That's a relief! And Sue's regular doctor told her that her white blood cell ct was back to normal now so she could go home. The leasions on the liver were also no problem. So, we went down this morning and drove her home and she's all settled on the couch. She didn't sleep in the hospital so I'm hoping she'll get a nice long nap this afternoon.
Thank you dear Lord. Thanks to you both for all your prayers.

Found Out This Morning -

The doctor came in to see Sue and he isn't releasing her. He told her that he found that her uterus was inflamed and enlarged and there was something attached (fat?), also she has leasions on her liver and her white blood count is elevated. This is Sue's understanding of what he said and hopefully the tests today will give us a better understanding of what is wrong. Please Please say a prayer for her. I don't know what all this means.......

She's in a great deal of pain and all I could do for her yesterday is hold her hand........Phyllis, I don't know how you got through Mike's cancer...........how do I do this? I will only be coming and going here at home and don't know from here what's going to happen........I'll either be at the hospital or Sue's and will definately be staying at her house tonight............

Doctor Said The Surgery Went Well

Sue's in a great deal of pain but the Dr said all went well during the surgery. She'll stay the night and come home tomorrow. It was a long day, I'm just getting home and will take a little rest now. I'm going to spend the night over there so I can get the kids off to school in the morning. Thank you for your prayers.

Haste Makes Waste

My busted, puffy lip.

My purple, banged up chin. I made a dash to Target this morning. I made a dash in Target this morning. Mid-dash my rubber soled shoe struck hard against their beautiful, spotless , gleaming floor. I do this once in awhile, my toe kinda hits the floor first, but I usually just stumble a little and embarrass myself. Must not put my foot down correctly. Not many people yet at 9:30. I remember thinking how gorgeous the floor looked and the next thing I remember I was kissing the floor.Two customers and 4 salespeople were very nice. I kept telling them I was fine, but they wouldn't let me go. Had to sit down abit. They kept saying "You're bleeding." So we took care of that and they also took care of what I had come for. I was trying to get home for Sara to get to her class. I don't know why I was rushing, had enough time. Sara felt so badly that she came home from class With some Mint Chocolate Moose Tracks ice cream, with instructions to eat the entire pint. The cold would be good for my lip. Well, well she was right. Carol, your husband is a riot. Teresa, your granddaughter is a riot. You are blessed.

When business slowed down Marcyssa decided it was time to take action!! She put the WOOPIE CUSHION Holloween costume on and took up the garage sale sign and went out by the road. She was dancing and made up a garage sale song to sing to everyone. You should have seen the people going by in their cars.....just laughing their butts off! Than if that wasn't enough she decided to put on Jake's MOON SHOES to complete her outfit and was bouncing up and down singing and making everyone laugh! It was halarious! There was no stopping her!

I think she takes after her Uncle Don don't you?

Sara made the cake and I made the frosting. Cathy was 55 on the 1st.

These are part of most all-American picnics, right? Olive oil, salt & pepper.

I'll put one more little picture in that inner corner. Alex wants to do a similar thing in his new apartment. New Pottery Barn lamp coming ( on sale ). My anniversary present from Bob. That floor lamp blocks some of the pictures. When it's where I had it. Not much use where it is now. I really love this. It looks much better in person.

GETTING THERE....

I have the new stove and microwave in, now just waiting on the rest to get done....The stove is cool, it has a warming burner on it and the oven is also a convection oven.....The adjuster said he is putting in to have the ceiling and walls repainted in the kitchen, familyroom and livingroom, replacing the cupboards, obviously the stove/mic, the carpets cleaned and he left me a piece of paper that if I wanted the pan replaced and the greenery above the stove i just have to add it to the list......It will take about a month before I get a check from them and can finish the kitchen...but I am happy to be able to cook again....
