Prayers for Michael

This is not the greatest quality picture, but it shows the wee ones receiving gifts from their grandfather. Left to right: Mary,Mikey, Autumn, Liz, Alex and Mike. It was a very sweet time. Anyway, he's in the hospital for his second round of chemo. The doctors say he will probably be home a few days before Christmas. Prayers for his healing. He has a 40% chance of this working and never getting it again. I think I'll go for that one. Well, that's my preferred option. Pray for the germs to be kept at bay. Sometimes they are not real careful. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My Little Angel

Cathy and Annie spent Thanksgiving together. Cathy took this picture . I wonder if she was trying to make a faux brooch from a candle flame? Now both my kitchen bags are finished. The small one for kitchen tea towels headed to the laundry and the larger for bottles and cans.

Tell the Little Angel "Happy Birthday'"

Gotta Call Ya

So, did Brooks build that little alcove especially for Thanksgiving? Everything looks great, but, I'm confused. That's why I need to call you. Lotsa food!

My Little Angel Turned 20 Yesterday.......

Livingroom

Brooks rearranged the livingroom to make room for the tree. This is the first time we have had the tree next to the door like this, the couch turned around and finally a tv in the livingroom.....oh yeah, he put the table in front of the window with the leaf out....what do you think??????

Thanksgiving Day

We had to put the food on a different table to make room for everyones elbows.....lol

This is Victor, he's the guy that comes every thanksgiving and Christmas dinners...he made the ham this year and bought the turkey for Brooks to cook...Brooks did it in a Thyme lemon butter and stuffed the insides with lemons to take out the game taste...it was AWESOME....

The table with the ham and turkey....

Need to Hang This Picture

This is the picture Mike gave us in the beginning of August. Not hung yet as I'm trying to come up with what I want to do with the wall. Also check out the new, blue apron I finished a few days ago. My" in house" apron model will be giving you a better look-see on that . Connie , I'm sorry I haven't called. Just noticed your latest post. Thank you. Please don't give up on me.

Keeping My Thoughts on Whatsoever

My kitchen bag for bottles and cans. I'll tell you if it's actually useful.
Vinyl coated on the inside.I would like to make a smaller one for kitchen linens headed for the laundry. Haven't been sleeping well. Wake up at 4 or 5 and that's it. I'm working on it. Mike starts his second chemo on monday.

Packages on the way!! = )

Third Times the Charm

Connie, I will call you tomorrow. This is the fabric for my kitchen laundry bag (dishcloths and towels) and also a bag to hold bottles and cans. I have a vinyl to iron on the inside to make them waterproof. Twice I loaded up 5 pictures and some internet monster came and gobbled them up. I will try again tomorrow for the rest.

Mums and Paint

Roses in the background, orangy colored mums behind the basket. I have a big swath of them in the backyard, and figured we would all enjoy them up close and personal instead of faraway and
unable to affect us in any special way. Over the sink is a small bouquet of pineapple sage flowers. they smell heavenly...like pineapple. Actually, it's the leaves that have a wonderful fragrance.
Oh yes, my five drawers and three doors.

Storage Bench & Kittens

Here is a storage bench I got at "Just Cabinets" for only $24.99 unfinished. I needed something for my yarn stash.....I should have bought 3! I usually sit my babies on it. And this is my latest project I did on Saturday. These kittens are 38 inches long and are weighted. I put them on the floor in front of my living room door to catch the draft....It took me a day to do them working pretty much all day.
