Children's Aprons & Porclain Plate

Ready for the cooks... Autumn, Mary, Mikey.
This is "Little Man's" , if he chooses to wear one.

I didn't like the floral stuff being higher than the mirror. Found this nifty porclain plate at the thrift store. Seems better to me.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE...........GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR WE ARE BLESSED.....

This & That

I'll post again when I get the grosgrain ribbon on. Tight fit, but couldn't find another.
Had to move my arrangement to paint.See my closet door? There's a clear plastic dropcloth on the floor, so don't worry about the paint.

I have enough of this fabric to make the apron. My red fabric is being washed. I'll probably use the red for the little apron.

Red tote fabric and lining material

Baby Lulu fabric and pink flannel. Baby blanket.

T For Teresa

Plymouth Barred Rocks

These are the type of chickens we had in Easton,Pennsylvania. Lots of fun stories to tell about those roosters ! Yikes!!! Not the hens. They were sweetie pies. Those roosters! I ordered them from the Sears catalog and they came in the mail. Of course, they were just little peeps then. Sweet and innocent.

Mary's Apron, Tea Towel Pillow, & Sunday's Pie

Yoyos are fun to make.
Looks like we are gonna be cookin'! This is Mary's apron with three large pockets across the front. I finished it today. It looks kinda tired, doesn't it ? Slouching down, all tuckered out.

A Debbie Mum dishtowel bought at JoAnns for $2.50, made into a festive holiday pillow .Ho Ho.Ho. This is for the craft fair.

An excellent pie . Sorry about the fuzzy picture. Dutch Apple Pie.

BTW, can you find both yoyos on the apron?

lab called

The lab called this afternoon about Aunt Connies results from today. Apparently there was a mistake and her RNA today was 3.3 so they put her back on the coumadin and will be rechecking on Thurs. All is well again! = ) Thanks for praying with me.

Aunt Connie...

Good morning ladies.
The lab just called and the RNA is still 6.6, they don't know why. But, they did say that if she is stressed, or agitated that can affect the coumadin...but she wasn't on the coumadin all weekend. So...they are going to check her again on Wed. Hopefully it will be lower or they will at least have a plan of action.
In the mean time we need to pray that she doesn't fall or have cause to bleed. And I will keep you posted as I have info.

AUNT CONNIE...... = (

The coumadin clinic called and left a message on our machine this morning (as they always do with the results of her regular tests)...
Her results are "really high" 6.6; normal is in the 2-3 range and the higher the number the thinner the blood. They are taking her off the coumadin for the weekend and rechecking on Monday. There have been no medication changes, so they don't know what is causing this. I can not talk to anyone at the clinic until Monday. So, this is all I know.
Just thought you should know so that you can pray.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ALL THE WILD FIRES.....ANY CLOSE OR NEAR YOU...?

Suki Dolls & Flannel Zebras

These tiny 5" dolls are inspired by the traditional Kokeshi dolls from Japan, which are made from wood. Mine, of course, are made from fleece. So far, i have five made.

When we were in JoAnns, Autumn ran her hand over this fabric. I have been smitten with it ever since.

Corn Casserole

This turned out pretty tasty....very close to scalloped corn that we ( I ) grew up on. It wasn't too sweet and I touched it up with some pepper. I will diffinitely make this again...Thanks Phyllis

Debbie Bell Jarrat

This was her first card,I believe. It's a large size.We had a wonderful time every Sunday discussing all kinds of ideas. Her husband Tom would wait patiently for us to finish. I used to get her all kind of books from the library. It was lots of fun and kinda exciting. She moved to NC and we (naughty, naughty) haven't kept in touch.

Aundi's Quilt so far

I really am excited about this....the squares are matched up perfectly.....I just have to go get a yard more of each to finish it...it's not big enough for me....

This is the front of it...I haven't clipped the edges yet since I want to finish the whole thing 1st...I did clip on little side of a square and thought it was great...I am so looking forward to seeing the whole thing finished..Don even said he would help me with the clipping of the edges.
I am already planning the material for Shannon's and Brooks's...
