As much as I liked posting my chicken, I do believe it's would be a bit rank by now so we really need to get it off the top of the page....So what is everyone up to these days......
Phyllis's computer is sorta on the blitz, she can see what's posted but cant post herself......her son is going to fix it. Teresa is busy with family this weekend, grandchildren have games in her area. Connie not quite sure about but I assume (never assume) she is busy with family and that includes Aunt Connie, church, and all around daily things. ME....don't get me started, Bree leaves for Seattle Wed. trying to get her all set for that. My back yard is the start of a gardners dream...BARE....so I have been trying to come up with a solution, a design of my own for plants.....not working out yet...I just dont have that knack for placing plants in the right area, or picking the right plants for that matter, but I am working on it, 1 plant at a time.....really, 1 plant is all that I have accomplished..LOL

I got up early and am sneaking time on the puter. I had such a great time yesterday at the games through the pain. Yea, it was a bit difficult but I will be going back up there this morning. There are 2 basketball games each day but they only last about an hour with a nice break in between. Angela is such a hard worker with the ref's calling bad plays against her and all. They are such naughty refs!! Can't they see she is a perfect little angel?
Carol, I think it's great that you've gotten a start on your back yard! Just enjoy the adventure while it's happening! When I bought this house the sellers were both 84 yrs old and didn't garden at all so my yard was bare of any color! I started by buying 4 packages of dead iris @ $.25 per pack. It was the end of the season and the bulbs were on clearance. But look at them now! I can't wait to see pics of your yard. What plant did you buy? This is so fun!
Hello Girls! Well, I'm doing the same thing as Carol...and Teresa...sort of. Kristy-lynn in on the swim team and has meets every Sat. So that's what we do Sats. from 8am-1pm. She is doing well and enjoying it. I'm also working on my front yard and like you, Carol...I'm kind of lost at this yard stuff. So we went yesterday and I spent way too much money, and haven't put them in the ground yet, because Gary wants to mess with the watering system and tear stuff up. But, I woke this morning wondering what the heck I'm gonna do...which plant should go where and second guessing some of my purchases. Around here it is VERY difficult to buy...hard to find evergreens, get something the rabbits won't eat to the numbs, and hope that the winters won't kill anything that made it through the summer! LOL
