Last Nights Dinner & New Potholder

One of my "sample fabrics" folded and sewn. A quick potholder.

I know, I know, I'm naughty. I served white rice.

I think this is less than 3 grams of fat per serving. 2.6? I hope this is the correct recipe. #44321.

Costco sells a big bag of these stir fry vegetables. All in all, a fairly quick and easy meal.

The Coat I'll start today -

I think the lining is a bit dark for the coat material but it'll do. This is just my "test" coat. Wish me luck!!

Parsley.........

I have been letting a bunch of parsley dry in the kitchen and am now able to crush it and use it...I have to much that I am going to start adding fresh parsley to our salads and enjoy the fruits of my labor...( lol ) I still have quite a bit that hasn't completely dried yet so that well be on my list of "do's" for later...

Don and I (with Sparkey) took a walk today...

We took a walk around Cranes Roost today, it's a 1 mile walk...I made it...yea But I thought I would show you some of the things that we saw along our way.....

Phyllis here is my front lawn leaves that Don has to rake (once) a year...not much in the back yard though.....He'll probably get it done next week just to make sure that all the leaves that are going to fall...fall...and the tree isn't even ours....lol

After 5 years I didn't realize this plant flowers......crazy

Brooks planted this about 5 years ago, it was only about 2 ft high at the time...look at the "ugly" blooms it has on it now...I was shocked to know that it actually flowers...













Look at how tall it is now...WOW..and then there's my hubby holding onto a weed that he had just picked....

While Cleaning in the Cellar...

Came across this chair. Cleaned it up a bit and flopped a fabric sample ( from Stitch & Sew ) upon it. Hmmm... Maybe paint it a creamy, creamy color. Hmmm...

Oh yes, that oriental rug hasn't seen the light of day in many a year. Hmmm... That was folded up and lounging on top of the chair.

Facial Sponges

Been cleaning my face with some new facial sponges. Trying to decide if there's any improvement. Also using a new cleanser and moisturizer. Maybe it's too soon to tell. So Carol, what do you think?

Adagio White Tea

You should check out all the health benefits of white tea. Tastes good too. The leaves are sun dried. I drink it without honey. Yikes! It's probably better with honey. I ordered a sampler, plus two samples and they threw one in for my birthday. I'm sending one to Annie. Shucks, the spoon is missing on the cup. Sara goes to her Senior Banquet tomorrow night. She's going with Greg. He's from school. She's borrowing a dress from Gabi. Don't I sound all relaxed? It's that tea folks. Ha.
