We finally have a date for her oral surgery to remove the remainder of that tooth. Monday, Jan. 12, 8 am! We must keep her in prayer. The not good news is that she has to be off the Coumadin for 5 days prior to the surgery. I'll be honest, I'm a bit nervous about all this. The concern with not doing the surgery is that she has exposed roots, which means high risk of infection. The nurse at the coumadin clinic (which monitors her blood work) called today with concerns and she was going to call the oral surgeon and get back with me. I didn't hear back from her.
She lost her hearing aid again on Sunday and it has not been found. = ( She had it in at lunch and barely an hour later she was in her room "fixing make-up" and had one in the wrong ear and the other was no where to be found. I'm hoping to beable to "order" one over the phone. It was not so long ago we did this. I wouldn't think they would have to do another mold. (?) The audiologist is in the same building as the oral surgeon. It would be nice to beable to pick it up when we are there on the 12th, as they are "down in the lower desert" (an hour drive).
So, guess that sums things up.

You sure do have your hands full...has the doctor called you yet.? I'm would like to know what he thinks about aunt connie going off her meds for 5 days and just what that could do to her.'
Hearing aide again?????? Could be with a few other things she's misplaced and eventually you'll come across everything.

The oral surgeon ordered the stop of the med, but it had to come with the okay from her medical dr. And he ordered it. = ( If they don't stop the blood thinner before the surgery, she could bleed to death...so the two options aren't so good. = ( And I want you to know Carol, I was going to call you today and one of Aunt Connie's old friend's called and I was on that call for a very long time! I will try tomorrow.
