Well, the kitchen is nearly finished! I am soooo done with washing dishes in the bathroom sink! Actually my sweet husband has been very accomodating...this weekend he hooked up the new sink even though this morning we have to take it back out so the counters can be installed. I spent part of the weekend looking for old kitchen pictures and realized I have some PMIA! (pics missing in action!) I'm hoping they are "hard" copies, will check there ASAP. I will post as soon as I can get some "before and after"'s together. I also want to get all the "pulls" on the cabinets before I take the completed picture. the one's I've picked are at Lowe's and I've been to two different locations in different towns I still need 17 more! yikes. I've cleaned them out at each location. And, we don't have a lowe's in our town, so it takes me longer.
Next weekend the microwave will be reinstalled and the new dishwasher will go in. Gary was going to do the micro this past weekend and I convinced him that a sink with running water was much more valuable to our family than a microwave in the kitchen (as the micro is in the family room and works fine there!)

I may quiet down the ceiling with a light wash of trim paint . Dilute it with water. I will test first. Still have a little wallpapering to do. And trim painting.Oh yes, doors too.
Got tired of jumping up and down that stepladder hanging wallpaper and painting, so I made an apron from a thrifted pillowcase.
