Well, the kitchen is nearly finished! I am soooo done with washing dishes in the bathroom sink! Actually my sweet husband has been very accomodating...this weekend he hooked up the new sink even though this morning we have to take it back out so the counters can be installed. I spent part of the weekend looking for old kitchen pictures and realized I have some PMIA! (pics missing in action!) I'm hoping they are "hard" copies, will check there ASAP. I will post as soon as I can get some "before and after"'s together. I also want to get all the "pulls" on the cabinets before I take the completed picture. the one's I've picked are at Lowe's and I've been to two different locations in different towns I still need 17 more! yikes. I've cleaned them out at each location. And, we don't have a lowe's in our town, so it takes me longer.
Next weekend the microwave will be reinstalled and the new dishwasher will go in. Gary was going to do the micro this past weekend and I convinced him that a sink with running water was much more valuable to our family than a microwave in the kitchen (as the micro is in the family room and works fine there!)

I am very happy for you, it's not easy putting up with all the inconviniences ( so I can't spell ) and all but when it's finished it will be wonderful.....

As a matter of fact I do! Actually, I'm a recipe "collector" of sorts! So...I've decided that we are going to start using the recipes that I HAVE collected and either like and keep them or trash them as "yuck"! = ) You can really only USE soooo many recipes! I have recipes from like the 70's that I have never even tried! tee hee. Then, I inherited my grandma's (Jame's wife). And I KNOW her's are good ones! Grandpa used to say at about every meal, "your grandma cooks like it's Thanksgiving every day!" LOL = ) Good memories.
I'm so happy for you! Can't wait to see the pics!!
