2nd project

I had my parakeets in 2 smaller cages and Jake and I hauled this one up out of the cellar Saturday and cleaned it all up. It had been in my flood and was pretty dirty but it's all spiffed up now. I hope Chomper, Snow, Willow and Powder all like it better. They're still all getting used to everythhing. The nest box is just for looks.....these birds don't know how to mate!

1st New Project

I've been working on the gourd bird houses over the last few weeks. Here a little there a little. Finally got them done and bought the hangers so maybe I can get them hung outside this week. I heard my little wren singing the other day so I know he's back and looking for a nice home.

Just to let you know

I have been having a great deal of fun on facebook and getting reaquainted with old friends and enjoying keeping in touch with Jason and Sue. I am also "Twittering" wich I have finally begun to figure out. It's not like Facebook, so it makes it quite interesting. On both sites I get to keep up with Fox News and some of there little surprises behind the scenes. I have also decided to take a look at MySpace, the big hype for the kids, not so much interest there....so my name my be in there, I am not......
Today I will be outside doing "outsidie type stuff" and then Shannon and I are spending some time at Walmart.....my home away from home....

Precious Little Devin's Fight is Almost Over

Please pray with me today for Grandma, Mom & Dad and family that God will give them peace and understanding.

It's time they said to let him go

This child of ours we've come to know

They tried so hard to make him well

But all the while his stat's just fell

He had more tube's then ever before

His serious condition we could not ignore

We knew Devin's lifewould soon be over

Our only request was could we hold him

He laid in my arms so peaceful and at rest

We know in our heart's we did what was best

I look in his face and no longer see pain

I knew from that look that Jesus just came

With Loved ones around us

He passed through the light

For two years He made our live's bright

We'll see him again in heaven we know

But it's still very hard letting him go

It isn't easy saying

good-bye

Okay Phyllis....you are soooo right! or should I say "Wright"?

I have come to the conclusion that Feb. 2008 was the birth of this blog! Yes, that would make it a year! lol
Excuse me while I pack my things to go move in with Aunt Connie.... = )
