This has been a lot of hard work. Alex and I have both worked on it . It's over 50 years old, looks 50 years old, so I guess we've got vintage.
I'm hoping to get it up , maybe today or at the latest, tomorrow night. Mike is coming down next weekend and I want the kitchen basically finished. Last August when he gave us the painting, I told him I would have to redo my entire living room, kitchen area to complement the painting. We laughted. He doesn't know all that I've done. I've mentioned that I was painting, but that's all.

I still have to do something with those white panels. They turned out to be plywood under all that paint. I still haven't done the other side. It's still painted white. Gotta get it up and will make up my mind at a further date.
Oh, Mike will be surprised won't he! I'd love to be there when he first see it!!
Can you replace the white panels with glass?
