Annie Made Potato Pancakes for Christmas Dinner

She also made some applesauce from "Honeycrisp" apples . We didn't have any chives, so I gathered a handful of parsley from my garden (had to scrape the snow off). This with the sour cream made a second choice for the pancakes.

Autumn & Jen

Sorry, couldn't get both faces in the picture. Jen is Keith's girlfriend. She just recently found out that she passed her test for nursing. So she's an RN now. She worked hard for that and it's wonderful that she has reaped the rewards of all that labor. She's has a very sweet personality. I think they've been going together about 5 years. Little Missy is one amusing 4 year old.

The Apron Girls -

Everyone liked their aprons except Emma. She "HATES" her's! (Little attitude there!) She really is in the picture next to Sue. All you can see is her hair......she's struggling to get the apron off.

My Christmas Tree

Tinsley's cookie fun -

She's wearing the apron Jake made for himself and pleaded with me to make her one so she doesn't have to wear his! She did very well, I didn't have to help her at all!

She had so much fun and was very proud of her mess!

He Came From the Beauty and Glory

I had polished this bowl and was washing it with warm , soapy water, when the beauty of the silver cleared everything else from my mind. The water in the bowl looked like something from beyond earth. Kings and queens have lived with this beauty on a daily basis. Christ came from beauty that far exceeds this. His sacrifice is the beauty of pure love. More than we are able to comprehend. But I do understand that He has made it possible for me to live with His beauty and glory forever.

A Beautiful Sunday

Finally put the rest of the rags on. I must say, it is cheerful.
My garden chairs are almost buried.

The neighbor's house across the street in the daytime. Bob insists that 81 is not the year to stop shoveling snowy walks. Alex earned $80 shoveling snow today for a neighbor. He shoveled ours yesterday, but of course, it needed to be done again today. Our neighbor Jimmy used his snowblower behind our car and Alex will finish everything else tomorrow. I yell at him, but it does absolutely no good.

My lavender on the front porch.

Ok, who hired a decorator?

Wow! who did this ?? It's beautiful! I love it!!

A Christmas Baby Exchange

Here is the baby I did for Tovi for Christmas. I'll have to post pictures of the one she sent me and post them. This one I did is a Laura Tuzio-Ross "Kylin" sculpt.

Good Morning

Wreath completed.Sara finished it while she talked on the phone. I still have a few rags to put on the lean side. Somehow they got lost in the shuffle.
Snow, snow and more snow.

There's a bit of shoveling to do. This car was shoveled out once already.

Last night. It was sooo beautiful. Our neighbor's house across the street.

I Just Opened My Front Window to Smell the Snow

and I heard my neighbor say "it's 14 1/2 inches." I couldn't hold myself back. I donned my boots and coat. YES! It is 14". Actually, I got 15"... It may snow all night. I'll do a remeasure tomorrow. The picture was taken earlier this afternoon.

Enchilada Casserole

Dinner tonight. I was talking with Mike tonight and that's why the cheese is a little more baked than I would normally do it. He's doing well. Pray that the white blood cell count goes up, up, up. I also talked with Jonathan and he's feeling much better today. He even walked to the store for some hot chocolate. Church is cancelled tomorrow. It is really snowing to beat the band! I will try to take a photog tomorrow. It looks like we have our mandatory 12 " already. I am not going to put my boots on and go out to the middle of the front yard to measure. Not tonight. Maybe tomorrow... Maybe. I drove up to Wawa around 4. Road is very crowded with snowflakes and a few cars.

A Christmas Firetruck & Chocolate Sweetness

You know Christmas is just around the corner when the Christmas Firetruck transports Santa Claus and Smokey the Bear, along with various other helpers, from one end of the development to the other. There is an audible body of Christmas music in the atmosphere, traveling in the company of the Christmas Firetruck. Even Elvis Sang a few of his Christmas songs. They usually pass out candy to the children, but with our high blizzard on, the children seemed to want to stay in their cozy homes and just wave to Santa. Poor Santa, he's been at this for hours already.
Chocolate cookies with cream cheese frosting inside. Kinda like soft oreos.

Trying To Wake Sparkey In The Morning!!!!!!

He sleeps under the covers at the foot of the bed after Don and I get up (otherwise he is snuggled right next to us), but each morning is a ritual trying to get him up to go out for his morning walk with Don.........
