Evil Crack Candy

One skid or packet of saltine crackers (you can use Club crackers too) laid out side by side in a 9 x 13 jellyroll pan or cookie sheet with a little bit of sides on it. The new nonstick Reynolds wrap works like a charm as a pan liner!
One cup of brown sugar1 stick of real butter
1 package of chocolate chipsshopped pecans, peanuts, or walnuts (or not, if you hate nuts)
Lay the crackers down on the lined cookie sheet or pan.Melt the butter in a medium saucepan, and when it's melted add the brown sugar, bring to full boil and cook for exactly 3 minutes and remove from heat.Immediately pour sugar/butter mixture over the crackers making sure to cover them all.Put the crackers into a 400*F oven for 6-7 minutes.Let cool for just one minute and then sprinkle the chocolate chips over, as many or as few as you think you will likeLet them melt for about one minute and then spread over the crackers. Then sprinkle the nuts on top.Let cool - eat. You might as well make another pan because these will be gone in about 15 minu
