July 4th.

I also had hot dogs and watermelon. That was it folks... Blood orange soda and peachy- pear from Target. I had taken Sara to a graduation party earlier up near Ocean Grove. Alex and Dana were here for awhile.
" George, we need you now." Went to a tea party in Jackson. About 15 minutes away. Only there about 1/2 hour. That was ok. My sciatica has been bothering me and we both agreed 1/2 hour was just fine. Got there about 2:30 , and they finished up at three. A vet home from Iraq remarked on the difference in attitude he noticed when he got home. Much more patriotic. Met a nice couple and we talked awhile. Good patriotic music. Two prayers that ended in the name of Jesus Christ!!!

The ladies that organized the event.

It was a beautiful day and I'm glad I went. I went alone and thot I would have to walk a long ways just to get from the parking lot to the tea party, but it was beautifully situated, just a hop skip and a jump (ha ha ha).

I'm so glad you were able to go to the tea party!
Looks like you had a wonderful 4th picnic! My neighborhood was so noisey last nite! I was able to lay in my recliner in my living room and see the fireworks out my front door! I've never seen a fireworks display laying down before! Nice.... It was after midnight when they stopped and I was beginning to think it was going to go on all nite!
