This is what's been going on this morning directly across the street from me. I just feel badly for the little baby birds that are in there. Maybe they're all grown up now and have flew the nest! Anyway, this has been such an eyesore and I'm so very happy they've taken it down!

WHAT CAN I SAY BUT
CONGRATULATIONS....
HURRAY.....
I can imagine how you must feel! With it being empty, especially. It feels kind of sad to me, though = ( Like tearing down a piece of history! = ( Had you ever been inside the house?
Is a new home being built?
Your sun porch looks wonderful!! Wow! I bet you feel such a sense of accomplishment!
I did feel a bit sad though I've never been inside the house. My neighbor Dee loves to talk and she's told me all about it. She grew up in the house right next to me but lived in the house across the street for a time after she got married. She's described how beautiful it once was many years ago (hum, I can relate to that a bit!! LOL) There was talk about putting a road there - red light and all - as they were talking about building an upscale housing development back in there. Not sure what's been decided though.
Well, these old bones are hurting from all the painting I did on the porch but it's so worth it. I did a bit of sewing out there today and it was so nice. I had the sewing table up against the wall before and if you can see I turned it facing the front door so I can see out all those windows. I love it. Thanks!
