The Shakers used to make dolls like this. She just seemed like a pleasant side excursion. Sorry Florence. The brown fleece is actually a much warmer brown. My computer color may not be very good. I need to make a new pattern, she's 2 " shorter than what she should be. Well, sorrryy. She likes being 8".

She's adorable! And don't worry that she's short, I'm the shortest one in the family too and I sure don't mind! LOL!
Thank you, ladies. Actually, I measured her again, and she's 9 and 1/2 inches long . Close enough.
