Ok, here she is.......took a TON of fibre fill and she's still not stiff enough.....I may have to get her a doll stand.
Well, her dress doesn't fit. Ya might know! I did use her wrist when cutting out the cuffs of her sleeves making sure they were big enough, but do you think I was smart enough to use her head/neck when cutting out the neck of the dress? I didn't even try on her bloomers.....but I will cuz I need to know if her tummy and butt fit in those! LOL The outfit was just a test anyway. The pattern I used was a Lee Middleton for a size 27" doll so I knew I was taking a chance. I think the length is perfect, the dress shows her chubby knees.
I used a flash for these pics as the sun wasn't up yet, I was so excited I couldn't wait. I love her! Phyllis, if you want to do a doll for yourself and don't intend to sell it you can cut corners alot! I love the wig and even though she was a lot to paint (which I didn't cut ANY corners there. She has veining and I used the sponge you sent too. Her skin looks perfect.) I tell you, it's amazing how fast the kits go when you don't fool with the eyes or have to root the head. This is a 30" doll and I did her in one day!
I guess she'll have to go naked till I can get to the store. Poor thing. :-)
I will be putting my Crier together today too so hopefully I can post pics of her later.

SHE IS AMAZING.............WHAT AN AWESOME JOB, FINALLY SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF (: I STILL LOVE THE DRESS.....WHY DIDN'T YOU HAVE TO DO THE EYE'S??????
How lovely she is. Could you take off the blouse part and cut the neck a little lower? Then put a tee shirt on her?
I LIKE HER IN BARE FEET.....NO SHOES
