Ok, I'm so excited about your trip Connie, I know you'll be taking tons of pics for us! Does Gary have head cold symptoms? If so hes going to be hurting up in the airplane with that cabin pressure, it bothers me even when I'm well.
I am taking in water in my basement this morning because we've gotten about 2 inches of rain overnight. It's not bad so far and with God's grace the rain will stop soon and I won't have any damage down there. It was a year ago this past December that I had to replace my furnace and water heater. Here's a picture of my backyard - I could go swimming!
My nice daughter, Susan, bought me a new sewing machine last night. My old one quit working last Friday and I can't be without! LOL! Anyway, I'll be sewing up a storm when I get it all figured out as it's computerized and very different from my 25 yr old machine! I read the user's manual and am ready to start playing!!
My granddaughter, Emma, (who comes to stay with me each day while Mom's at work) is pretty sick so Sue gave her some motrin before she left so she'll probably be a little groggy today.

What a wonderful sewing machine! Look at all the stitches.Yum.We had a lot of rain last nite. It has stopped now and is not supposed to rain for the rest of the day.Maybe yours is finished also.

It's kind of funny looking at the picture of your new sewing machine...I want to TOUCH it! LOL It's soooo sleek and shiney!
