A Fuzzy Drawer

Well. I guess I've officially started painting my cabinets. It's getting late to do much today. The weather is getting colder. 56 degrees out. Alex thought we could do the drawers out in the shed.There's heat and light. Need a few more warm days. Even if I only get the bottom cabinets done, that's ok. The tops are not in as bad shape. Hopefully in the spring I can whoosh the tops. Actually, I have a fear that I will only have this one drawer done...Ekkkk. I have such a positive attitude.

When I was a little girl, you were like a Queen to me. Beautiful, kind, very wise and I knew you loved me. I still feel that love. I adored your hats. I was especially fascinated with the purple hat that had a purple feathered bird with red accent feathers on his head. Asking you questions was a favorite pastime of mine when visiting you. You always answered. You loved all people . Their skin color did not matter to you. That was a lesson I learned from you one day as we crossed the street.Your kindness to a total stranger It was a beautiful, sunny day. That day has stayed in my mind for over sixty years. Your interest and help to me as I grew older was appreciated , but now I see it's true value. I'm sorry I was not the best niece, but , I will see you again . It will be wonderful. Thank you for all the valuable lessons you taught me through the years. You calm and inspire me even now as I think of you. You were the best aunt. Love, Phyllis

East Coast here we come....!!!
We leave Sat. Oct. 17. Plan to arrive in your area sometime the following week. Do we want to plan to get together? Our route actually takes us right between Teresa and Phyllis, the 95? Not sure how much time we are going to have.....routing the trip has made me realize how little time we have to get there and back and experience it to! = ( Although my wise husband has TRIED to tell me! = ) When I figured out exactly where ya'll live I rerouted us.....I think it will work. Just let me know if you have the time and want to!

Carol we won't be in your area until about the end of the first week of Nov.

We are planning about a week ea. for east/west-west/east and about 2 weeks down the east coast, but that is because of NY city and DC.

Tinsley's cheerleading squad won 1st place in competition

She's in the back in the 4th picture......she has spent the last 6 Saturdays competing in competition from 7am to 3pm and her squad took 1st place. During half-time at today's game I was able to watch them perform their dance routine and it was amazing. Here's a few pictures of it but I wish you could have been there to see the whole thing.

My Very Own Swing Bag

No. 4. Annie, Cathy, Suzanne and me, myself and I... My bag is like Cathy's except for a different lining. She has checks and I have stripes. Maybe I can put up a full picture tomorrow.Mike was doing well today. He wants to try and come down the day after his birthday(October 16).He will be getting his test results back on his birthday. It has been a quiet day. Nice.

After putting it on and taken a picture I realized I should have stretched it back into place after washing it....lol Oh well, you get the gist of what it looks like....it goes along with my scarecrow... I am going to make one for each holiday and I am also thinking birthdays.....the kids really like it....
