Needlepoint,Tablecloth Fabric and Tomatoes
A Few Shots of My Gardening Efforts
Nancy's phlox.
A peek at a tiny summer squash.
Do you see that angry, red hot pepper hiding in the flowers? My first experience cutting one open clued me into it's hot little personality. One stroke of the knife and my breathing passages were peppered with attention grabbing firey hot micro jabs. It's a bell pepper. I didn't know bell peppers came in " hot". There's a regular bell pepper growing there too. And a jalapeno.Friday, July 24, 2009

Take a Peek...
Two tomato plants in their "lasagna bed". Oh yes, and a basil plant also.
Cucumber, basil and an heirloom tomato, "Brandywine". Green fluffy stuff- Italian oregano. Flowers- salvia. Will be putting something else in this bed.
Three kinds of peppers. Picked the first bell pepper yesterday (plant on right). Some things are in pots so the bunnies, groundhogs and voles don't get to them before I do. Rabbits supposedly are not interested in tomatoes, cukes, squash and I don't remember what else. We will see. I also am not sure if they want to scrabble up the sides of the lasagna beds.Blue Lake Pole Green Beans

Not sure if you can see this clearly but where having storms all around us, there's clouds above the lower clouds but the clouds are blue...I have never seen blue clouds before so I had to take a picture.....
This was taken just the other day, Stuart John decided to take Aundi to Disney for the day....Shannon and Amy tagged along for fun.....Can you tell he adores his Uncle????

Now I am anxious for all of them to bloom
This was recently taken, you think your hair was poofy and wild Phyllis, take a look at this head of hair.....Her hair is wild.
I really love these sunflowers, if you look in the background a bit you can see my flag that has sunflowers on it that Shannon got for me the other day. Aundi is quite proud of our accomplishment with these.

With our neighbors moving they had no place for there outside furniture so they gave them to us. This is before Don and I washed them (scrubbed) them down this morning. Don is going to fix the umbrella stand and it goes up right where it is now. Over a bit to make it even but it will look nice.
