These are the type of chickens we had in Easton,Pennsylvania. Lots of fun stories to tell about those roosters ! Yikes!!! Not the hens. They were sweetie pies. Those roosters! I ordered them from the Sears catalog and they came in the mail. Of course, they were just little peeps then. Sweet and innocent.
What made you think of these? Thanksgiving? They kind of look like a turkey.......
ReplyDeleteI had chickens too, Henny Penny and Chicken Little, but that was a long time ago when we lived out in the country. Jason had 2 pet ducks too, Daffy and Donald but we had little money that year so we ate them for our Thanksgiving dinner. He didn't care........I don't think!
I remember EASTON and all the little animals there.....good times...
