Lemon Tree

Don did all the work in planting the tree this morning, he just took my picture with it. Not feeling to well, I'll probably just relax today.
Don is very proud of his lemon tree planting job.....I really wanted it out front but decided everyone would pick the fruit that I wouldn't have any left...( sorry, being selfish)....

Sneak Peek

Here's the babies I'm working on now. 3 are a set of triplets which I plan on listing all in one and the little one with the hair is a seperate preemie. I'm making the triplets bonnets and matching dresses. The 3rd set will be a very light green - the 2 hats you see are not really pink but a light coral.

Don's FIND

It's a wine rack but these people must have used it as a potting station. That's what Don brought it home for me to use it for. But I am not sure if I will be able to paint it. Ok what do you think? Is it a keeper or should I take it over to Shannon's on next trash day so the people that threw it out don't find out Don likes to "curb side" shop......

Homemade Manicotti

This so easy and so good, it's a must to try.........

Shells

2 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
water
fresh basil or other herb of choice

Beat eggs mix with 1/2 cup water add flour and salt. Add more water as needed to form a thin pancake batter consistency. Add herb. Heat a small amt. of olive oil in small frying pan, or spray it. Add about 1/4 cup of batter so it covers bottom, it's like making crepes. cook about 1 min. and flip. place shells on wax paper to cool.

Manicotti Filling

1 lg container ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup parsley
1 cup parmesan cheese
pepper to taste

Place a thin layer of marinara sauce on bottom of baking dish. Fill the shell with mixture by placing a few tablespoons int eh center. fold the two sides in to form the Manicotti. place folded side up in baking dish. continue single layers. Spoon more marinara sauce over the manicotti and top with parmesan and mozzarilla. Bake in oven at 350 until lightly browned on toop and bubbling....

ENJOY..............I had sausage to my sauce....

Lily and Tomato Plants

I just had to show you my lily again, I have 4 blooms on it now and it is amazing. I love the vibrant yellow.

Here is where I decided to plant my tomatoes, I think they work here, it also makes me feel surrounded with plant life and I love it. I have 2 yellow bells to plant but just not sure, they have a tendency to wander all over, .......LOL

Dr. Appt. for Aunt Connie

Good Morning Girls...

I need prayer @ 11:00 am our time....Aunt Connie has an appt. with the Dr. they want to put her on something that will relax her mind so that she will be at rest. I need wisdom to ask the necessary questions. But, also to be bold enough to not allow a medication that I'm not comfortable with for Aunt Connie. Medications she is currently on are all things she was already on or they were short term i.e., anti-inflamatory....arthritis flare ups.

The main problem and it has been an on going issue...is that her mind doesn't stop. And it causes her to get really worked up and when this happens it is very difficult to calm her. In her mind what she is thinking is very real, so it is difficult to reason with her. This is all bad for her heart and blood pressure.

They also believe she is suffering with mild depression. So, an anti-depressant is also in the discussion.

I will let you know this afternoon what the doctor says.
